I recently hired Mike from Painting Inc to power wash my brick home and
stain my wooden deck. I am very meticulous and after meeting with Mike and seeing how he evaluated the home's condition,
and subsequently provided a very detailed written work proposal, believed I found someone who would meet my high standards
of work.
He placed me into his schedule and completed the
first phase of the work involving the power wash. I have had this type of work done before, and was simply amazed to
see Mike used ladders to reach high spots on the house to ensure effective cleaning. Additionally, he cleaned my
deck, stone patio and adjacent vinyl fence and arbor decor. I have never seen any other power washer I previously
hired, extend the effort to ensure the home and adjacent areas were so effectively cleaned.
After a drying period, Mike returned to apply deck stain and sealer. He spent more time on
that process than other individuals I previously hired, spent on the house cleaning and deck staining, combined. He
was extremely neat and applied additional coats as the wooden deck absorbed the stain. His initial estimate was for
one coat of stain on the deck, but it wasn't enough to meet his high standard of completion. Accordingly, he completed
additional coats until he was satisfied with the results, without a request for additional charges beyond his original
proposal.
Mike is clearly a professional
in his field, and takes great pride in doing the job, correctly. I don't think he could walk away from a job until it
was done to his satisfaction, which clearly meets my own high expectations.
My wife is a Real Estate Agent in Great Falls, VA. She has been in the business for 26 years and
was delighted to see the quality of Mike's work. Next week, she will recommend Mike to other agents, for referral
to their clients, during the weekly office meeting.
