Contact Painting Incorporated
If you can′t tell us who you are and why you′re contacting us; you′re not someone we would want to do business
with anyway. We get so many phone calls (daily) from all over America, mostly boiler rooms using spoofed (fake) numbers
that don′t exist or from ″Youmail″ fake accounts. Obviously we stopped answering the phone long ago,
so now we receive text messages from the scam artists asking if we accept credit cards (mostly from Nigeria, and of course,
accepting credit cards is more important to them than qualifications). Anonymous people leave us voice messages from long
dead famous people from the 1800′s that are easily found on ″wikipedia″, or from completely made up names
who just don′t exist. We are bombarded almost daily with images sent to us from unknown people using made up email
accounts asking ″how much″ does something cost, and nearly half the time, we get our contact form filled out only
partially. Lets be perfectly clear; we do not do business with anonymous people. If you wish to remain anonymous,
we will have nothing to do with you. Call us just one time and fail to identify who you are and why you're calling, you
get added to the spam list. If you want to do business with us, we want to know who you are - is that such a simple thing
to ask? It doesn't matter how you choose to contact us; You must fill out the "Contact Us" form found
below. - regardless of your reason for contacting us.
Free estimate of cost by email
If you would like a general idea of cost, most often we can give you that by email without having to drive out to visit you. Using
the "Contact Us" form found below, please provide us with as much information about your project as possible. - Include
a few photographs by using the provided image email link found on this page used specifically for sending images.

Written Proposals
If you would request for us to schedule a time to come out and assess, evaluate, recommend solutions, or view your project
and take notes; in order to submit an itemized, detailed proposal for the work; we charge a nonrefundable minimum fee of at
least $40 cash upon our arrival. Larger estimates, insurance quotes, and projects that are miles and miles away will cost
more.
This is due to those who are:
- Price Curious Price curious?
Although
price is always a concern, it shouldn't be your very first concern, nor should it be your only concern. Your first concern
should be; WHO is Qualified?
If you are price curious, You will find a broad range of pricing that is anywhere from
a low $25 to a high $125 per hour, with most contractors priced somewhere in the middle, and our price is very much the same
of what everyone else is charging.
Unfortunately, not everyone who advertises painting services is a painter, so even when you do find that great price, are
you sure you're getting someone who knows what their doing?

Comparing prices Comparing prices?
Painting is
not a commodity, and neither is deck cleaning / sealing / staining. It cannot be packaged and sold in a box on a store
shelf with another store down the road offering the same product at a better price, and if you think that "anyone" can do
what a professional painter does - you are only fooling yourself.
Comparative shopping works in many areas, but
it does not work when looking for a painting contractor.
If you are comparing one contractor's price with another
contractor's price, you need to make sure you are comparing a qualified painter with a qualified painter, or a sub-contractor
with a sub-contractor, or a franchise with a franchise.
You cannot compare oranges with apples with lemons.

Getting Several Estimates Getting
several Estimates
Does it matter to you who performs the work?
Just because someone is wearing a nice
suit, and hands you a business card, does not make them a Lawyer, and just because someone is wearing painter's pants, or
has a painting business, does not make them a painter.
In today′s market, it′s not enough to simply get
three estimates from three painting contractors; because not all of them qualify.
You need to decide what it is you
really want, and do some research on the contractor(s) you are considering for hire.
In case you didn't know, our
unqualified competition is charging the same amount of money we would charge - so price is not really what you need to be
looking at.

"Tire Kickers" Tire Kickers
A Tire-kicker is a lo-baller, they are time wasters. There is very little chance they are
going to use our services anyway.
They ask lots of questions; they want the professional solution. They ask about
techniques, procedure, steps to get it done, what products we would use, which is the best product, and why we would choose
one brand over the other.
When finished with their interrogation; they expect the line by line itemized and detailed
proposal, sent as soon as possible.
...and you never hear from them again.
- "Negotiators" Negotiators
What a waste of time to drive out to someone's home and find out the homeowner wants to "negotiate"
a price. Sorry, our price is fair, we need to get paid the amount of money the job is worth and nothing less. You want
a low price? Go down to the corner and pick up a few day laborers, or hire a painting franchise, that's what they do.
Negotiators
have the money, but do not want to pay you for your time, they want to negotiate a price that suits them - and is far from
the real cost of what the job is really worth.
Negotiators will often "bait and switch" on you: After discussing
an idea of cost on the phone or through email, they would have you drive all the way out to their house - and then they NOW
tell you their budget, which is almost half less the amount already discussed. They must be thinking that since you already
drove all the way out to their house, you will accept their low ball offer. You would have to be a desperate homeless drifter
to accept work from these people.
Negotiators want someone who is qualified, has the truck with all the tools, properly licensed and insured. Negotiators
want the professional, they want the best you can offer ...but they're not going to pay for it.
- Getting Insurance quotes Insurance quotes
Sometimes insurance companies require home owners to get
a few written estimates in order to receive the insurance check. After collecting the insurance check, many home owners
either hire the cheapest contractor they can find, or they do the work themselves, or they just don't do the work at all -
and keep the money.
How nice of us to help them get their insurance check while we waste our time and get nothing
- not even a simple "thank you".
We charge for our time now.
...and of course Our competition Our competition
Our competition includes; (1.) Honest experienced qualifiable
legitimate licensed painters and contractors (2.) and those who are not what they appear to be.
Due
to the economy, many startup companies (and many contractors who sub their work out) have no idea what a fair price would
be to charge for painting or deck sealing.
In order to find out what something costs, they call several contractors
for their ″free estimates″ and they end up getting a pretty good idea - and the poor contractor who drove out
to price the work just wasted his time and shared his pricing methods.
Painting Contractors The Fake Painting Company
With
the exception of but only a few...
Most "Painting Contractors" these days are either a "Painting Franchise", or a
"Sub Contracting Contractor". Qualified professional painters are not as common as you are led to believe.
Either
way, the idea is to advertise a professional service, then sub contract the work out to cheap, un-qualified (often times Illegal)
labor using inferior materials.
They know that you are looking for a ″Great″ price - everyone is
looking for that great price, and they know that there is an endless line of unemployed unqualified people they can hire for
nearly nothing to do the work.
During the peak season, they rake in millions of dollars at everyone else′s
expense, and they are in a price competition war against each other - not us.
